Within 6 months of this law being enforced, the legal entities of public law providing television and radio broadcasting (except for the Television and Radio Broadcaster of Georgia, a legal entity of public law and state television in the Autonomous Republic of Ajara) shall be transformed to legal entities of private law during the following 6 months the state-owned shares in equity capital shall be privatized under Georgian legislation. The Television and Radio Broadcaster of Georgia, a legal entity of public law shall, after enforcement of this law, until the Board of Governors is appointed, conduct its activities as Public Service Broadcaster under this law. State assets in the Television and Radio Broadcaster of Georgia, a legal entity of public law and “Television and Radio of Georgia” shall be transferred to the Public Service Broadcaster of Georgia within 1 month of enforcement of this law, by the government of Georgia. The License Fee / Royalty to be paid by the Radio Broadcaster (Licensee) for per Radio Channel per City shall be the Percentage of Gross Revenue payable as per Sub-Clause “A” below or the Minimum Annual Royalty / License Fee as per Sub-Clause “B” below whichever is higher. On 31 December 2015, the Polish Senate adopted the ‘small media law’ concerning the management and supervisory boards of the Polish Public Television Broadcaster (TVP) and Public Radio Broadcaster (PR).
The Applicant, Music Broadcast Limited, formerly known as Music Broadcast Private Limited, is a private FM Radio Broadcaster operating under the name of Radio City FM. The entire business in the Radio Sector runs on music but the license fee payment made by Radio Broadcaster is the lowest. Examples of Radio Broadcaster in a sentenceįurthermore, the Radio Sector revenue should be calculated in its entirety including any barter mechanism or individual agreements that might be in place between a Music Owner and a Radio Broadcaster.
